First Display Tablet

This was the first Display Tablet that I have ever used and It feels so much better switching from a small phone to this! I'm not a tech person but everything is working so darn good right out of the box and I currently have no issues with it at all! Shipping was quick and came safe and sound with no damages.

I like it

I got the Artist 13.3 Pro back in 2021 as I wanted to upgrade to a drawing tablet with a screen from my Wacom Intuos. While I usually prefer drawing on paper, this device helped me a lot with art projects over the pandemic and now I still use it to draw maps of fictional areas and sometimes for my YouTube channel. [For the sake of not turning this review into a promotion for myself I won't be saying the name of it]
The only problem I have with it is that I have to re-calibrate the display fairly often but it doesn't affect my workflow much.

Works out of the box under Linux Mint 20.3

I have a PC tower running Linux Mint 20.3 and I was worried that any graphic tablet was going to give me driver-related trouble. The Artist 13.3 Pro works out of the box, though.

The tablet comes with a cable that has a USB-C on one end, 3 connectors on the other end. The USB-C plugs into the tablet. As for the 3 connectors on the other end, they are a USB-A that plugs into the PC like a mouse, another USB that is used to connect to an external power supply, and an HDMI male connector that goes into a free HDMI port in your graphics card (you do need a free HDMI port, obviously).

Once connected and turned on, the tablet is seen as an extra monitor and displays any application that is opened there. To simplify use, I put my monitor into "mirror mode" where both monitors (the existing screen and the tablet) display the same image. Then I launched the OSS drawing application Krita. From that point on, I was able to draw with the stylus without any additional software, driver or setup. The pressure sensitivity works nicely. Just started playing with Krita, but so far so good.

Teaching aid

Works well with SmartBoard software for remote teaching and development at home away from school. Simple plug and play. Also useful as a second screen.

Works very well, huge improvement from non screen tablet.

Runs at a lower resolution than i expected, but that is my own fault for not reading the details of the model closer. So far it works perfectly and it is so much more effective for drawing than an older style tablet that does not have a screen on it.

Everything i could have hoped for. Couldn't be more pleased with both the tablet and the service.

First off the tablet is working out perfectly and I couldn't be more happy. Secondly I ordered it during the christmas sale and from flipping back and forth from the order page to the storefront I apparently ordered the wrong version. Well, wanted the holiday version which was priced the same. Spoke with customer care about it and after a couple emails they fixed the order without excessive drama and delay. That is how you earn and keep customers xp pen. Good on you! Thanks!

My first Display tablet!

Very nice drawing tablet! I've only had time to mess around with it for a few hours, but I love the way it feels and looks, it's not too heavy and is easy to hold. I'm still trying to get used to the buttons and spin wheel, but it's still fun to try out! My package did not come in orderly time, it took over 2 months and had to get it resent twice, however customer service was very quick and willing to help, so 10/10 for them! Also, I had a sync problem with the pen and and mouse, but I was able to get that sorted out by calibrating it real quick. Overall would recommend as a first display tablet and it isn't as expensive as other ones either!

Amazing tablet!

Color accuracy is great compared to my old laptop monitor, working on it is super sweet! I use it for vector graphics and regular art as well

Only thing I am sad about is that it uses a triple usb cable instead of having USB-C out, but otherwise it's really good!
