A great tablet for those switching to a display
The Artist 12 2nd Gen is a great tablet that I've gotten a lot of use out of. It can be a little unwieldy with all of the cords and cables taking up all of he USB slots on my laptop, but the screen is brighter and more detailed. The screen is easy to scratch if you don't purchase a protector and the cord cannot withstand much force, which is unfortunate for me given how often I've accidentally tripped on it. Thankfully, you can purchase replacements for any accessories you might have forgotten or damaged along the way, so all is well!

Amazing starter tablet
I've been drawing as a traditional artists for a while, until I decided to try out this tablet and this was amazing. This is recommended for those who're new to digital art or experienced. Thank you XP-PEN :D

High Quality with an affordable price!
I had previously bought a bigger more expensive graphics tablet from a different company and it couldn't even hold a candle to this one. Small and light enough I can move it around like my sketchbooks. Comes in cute colors too.

Pretty nice for the price
I'm not a professional but I enjoy drawing sometimes. Wanted something like this for years and now they are affordable for the entry level market. My only gripes are it lacks touch screen capability (probably for cost reasons, not a big deal) and the "hydra" cord is pretty short. I would like to use it from my couch but it won't reach. I'm not sure a standard usb extension cord would work because the end that plugs into the screen is 2 usb cables and an hdmi cable combined into a single usbc plug. I could be wrong about that but I haven't looked into it yet.

Good tablet for a great price. No complaints.
I've had this tablet for around a year and a half and can't find anything bad. It's a decent tablet at an affordable price (this constantly goes on sale for around $250, and it's way more affordable than anything Wacom makes) and I suspect XPPen is only going to get better.
The knob is amazing and the reason why I bought this. You can adjust brush size, zoom, rotation, and more, and even have a button that changes it so you can use all four at once. The screen size is slightly larger than a paper. They have a pen holder that holds 8 or so spare nibs so your pen will last for a while, too, unlike my old wacom bamboo tablet.
Even if you take a hiatus from drawing you can also use this as a second monitor, haha.
My only complaints are the fact that:
- The power cord isn't a single power cord but two usb connectors together and makes it look cheap.
- The cord is 1 USB-C cable (connects to the tablet) that splits off into three (HDMI, power, USB) when I'm sure a USB-C to USB-C+power would work since it's much less hassle and basically every computer these days has a USB-C port.
- There's no monitor screw in on the back so you can't attach it to a monitor desk arm. You'll have to use a desk arm for laptops big enough to fit this.

XP-Pen Artist 12 2ND
My main reason for buying this is Brand, Is the best part is the battery-less pen feature , I hate having to go buy and try to find the right type of batteries, that some companies use or required in order to use the drawing pen, It's a big hassle and not needing to replace or buy new batteries is really the best way to go, Having to charge them is less hassle, Hopefully the companies are trending for this way to use, or having a designed recharging battery .Battery-less is ideal, makes life easier . The XP Tablet is easy to use and once you download the app from their online site, it works well on my old and newer macs . I got this one on sale, It's my second tablet from my first one that has a bigger screen XP- Pen 15.6 and so both are good tools to work on digital art with most drawing and editing apps.

Great item for the price!
My son is a skilled artist so ease of use was not an issue. It does all he requires for home work and he likes it.

New to art
I appreciate XP Pen for making display tablets affordable. I wanted to try out digital art, but didn't want the learning curve of a traditional drawing tablet. It was easy to set up considering this is my first piece of art equipment ever. Very ergonomic with a beautiful display and light pen. I feel like a professional already. Thanks to your team!

a great drawing tablet
The responsiveness of the tablet is on point - the lag between the stylus and the screen is very very short and almost negligible. And the programmable shortcut keys are a lifesaver! They allow me to keep my eyes on my work at all times and no longer need to move the mouse frequently or divert attention to the computer keyboard when painting.

Wonderful drawing tablet
Our family tried a few different drawing tablets before we settled on this one. The tablet is easy to use, easy to set up, and it doesn't lag when you draw. Works well with Photoshop, the extension cords are long and do not get in the way. We enjoyed the soft nib on the pen that doesn't catch on the screen like other nibs do.

Just the right size!
I find it great these past few days, though this may be my first display tablet, I was not disappointed of its size what's so ever. It wasnt too small nor was it too big. Drawing art digitaly even sketching has never been so much fun for me before!

Doesn't seem to work with Krita or Gimp and barely with Sketchbook
I have pressure sensitivity turned on in all the programs and Krita and Gimp there is no pressure sensitivity and Sketchbook a lot of the tools don't work with the pressure sensitivity. Although it does work beautifully with Clip Studio and it's a great device. I love that you get a bunch of replacement nibs. The screen isn't super smooth, there is drag as I draw and the way it hooks up I needed a splitter for my desktop and then my sound stopped working. I had to plug in my speakers to the desktop instead of my monitor. It's not the tablets fault, it's not designed for desktop use. I think it screws up because the tablet has no speakers itself.
