Is the Artist Display 24 Pro a mobile device or does it require a PC or laptop to power it? If it is not a standalone mobile device, what makes it better than the MS Surface Pro which si both capable of drawing and use as a tablet/mobile device? If not just for size, what makes it better than the Lenovo Yoga Book? Is the stylus included with the Artist Display 24 Pro? I've read numerous reviews from customers here, and I'm wondering if the HDMI cable issue has been resolved? I'm really doing a deep comparison shop because as an animation student, $700+ is a big investment and I want to make sure I purchase the best product with the most use/utility...the get the best bang for my buck. Thank you.

The Artist 24pro is not a stand alone product. It needs to be connected to a computer to work.
It comes with a PA2 stylus which has tilt function on it. Please know that all our products are 100% tested for quality assurance.
We provide 18 months warranty for our tablet, and the accessories like the pen have a three months warranty, which starts from the date of purchase.

Can you draw on the xp pen with your finger or must you use the pen? I am on a committee to look into fairly cost effective methods to have technology in classrooms. We currently have projectors in all classrooms but nothing else. We have plenty of older computers that would run the xp pen and our system has an HDMI port. Some people teaching enjoy using the pen but others prefer their finger, will this work?

I am hearing really great reviews from the commenters on this product!

Overall, how does this screen compare to the Microsoft studio or a Mac laptop? The Microsoft studio resolution is 4500 x 3000, and is absolutely stunning to look at. However, the drawback of the studio... The newest pen while it is good is just ergonomically the worst thing I have ever held, and the previous pen. At least I could put a grip on it because it would shaped like a normal pen... But it was terrible for drawing.

I am hoping to find a monitor that has high pixel density, because my eyes are really sensitive to pixels and it can be hard to look at. And something with vibrancy the vibrancy of a Mac laptop, so I don't have the switch between two different screens constantly. In advertising, if the color is wrong because of the monitor, it causes enormous headache when it comes to print...

Please let me know if you think this is a good fit for me.

Artist 24 Pro's resolution is 2560 X 1440, not 4K.

The panel specifications of Artist 24 Pro and Mac are different, which will cause slight differences in color between the computer screen and the display.

If you are very sensitive to color, we do not recommend you to buy it. Our products have a high color gamut, and the colors are usually a little brighter than those on Mac.
